🎉 Celebrating Our Top AR Achievers! 🎉
We are thrilled to announce that the Top 5 AR students per grade level have been rewarded with a donut and strawberry lemonade for their dedication to reading. Our Top AR classes in grades 1st through 6th also received a donut for their hard work. Additionally, classes in Pre-K and Kinder where all students completed their AR goals received a donut as well.
Students from grades 1st through 6th who completed their AR goals enjoyed a fun day at the gym or playground and received a free Sonic coupon as a special reward.
Great job to all our amazing readers and thank you for your dedication!
Join us for this year's Feast of Sharing, happening Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, where our community can enjoy a delicious Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings! Important reminders: * * Only clear and mesh bags are allowed. * * Fine Arts performances will take place in the auditorium from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. * * No food is permitted in the auditorium. Today, the student councils will promote kindness throughout the community. Everyone is encouraged to take this opportunity to show extra kindness to students and one another. It’s important to remember that everyone belongs at Valley View ISD—their unique contributions and care strengthen the school every day. The goal is to make today special by spreading kindness in every interaction.
One of our school's pumpkins beat the rest of the elementary's in the 3rd grade category. Congratulations to our school winner Frida Hernandez!
All district winners got to go shopping this past week at our local Wal-Mart.
We want to thank everyone who participated in the District's Pumpkin Decorating Contest. We loved seeing everyone's work. Wilbur E. Lucas Elementary students gave the pumpkin decoration their all and it showed. Your hard work and dedication is very much appreciated.
