Today we had our Student Council Campaign 2023-2024. Our student council candidates had the opportunity to promote their campaign and had a Tiger-iffic experience. Tomorrow is Election Day and we would like to wish our students the best ⭐️🐯⭐️

Wilbur Lucas Elementary will be having a P.T.O. meeting on Tuesday, September 12th, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 pm in our cafeteria. We will be having PTO officers elections, and our 3rd graders are presenting for us. We will be waiting for you. Nuestra escuela Wilbur Lucas estara teniendo la primera reunion de P.T.O. el martes 12 de septiembre a las 5;30 p.m. hasta 6:30 p.m. en nuestra cafeteria. Tendremos elecciones de oficiales del P.T.O. y los alumnos de 3rd grade estaran dando una presentacion. Le esperamos.

WLE parents: Our school will celebrate "16 de septiembre" on Thursday, September 14th. Your son/daughter can dress in Mexican attire on that day. Padres de WLE: Nuestra escuela estara celebrando el "16 de septiembre" el dia jueves 14 de este mes. Vista a su hijo/hija con los atuendos mejicanos en ese dia.

Happy grandparent’s day! We would like to thank all our grandparents that joined us for this special event. Our students had the opportunity to share a very special memorable moment with their grandparents. Grandparents, thanks to you, this event was a great success!We also would like to give a special thanks to our Valley View Mariachi and his director Mr. Lopez for making it extra special.

On Tuesday, September 05, 2023, your school counselor Mrs. Cantu met with our 2nd-6th grade students who are eager to participate in our student council 2023-2024. The meetings were held by grade level during their conference rotations. At the meeting, students had the opportunity to learn the purpose of our school student council committee, the roles of each officer, and the activities that will be promoted throughout the year. Students were very motivated to learn and to complete a required application to be part of our school student council 2023-2024. A meeting will be held this Friday with our students who meet eligibility to participate. Student Council Campaign has been scheduled for Monday, September 11, 2023, and Election Day has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 12, 2023. “We are tigreffically excited” Your school counselor, Mrs. Erika Cantu ⭐️🐯⭐️
